Snapshot

Oh the things you see when you're out walking. Case in point, check this out....

Sitting all alone in the grass? What do you suppose he's doing there? Got tired of walking and took a break? Waiting on a friend? Meditating? (okay, so I thought maybe this when I first saw him)

 NOPE!!

Turns out it's a statue! Pretty cool, huh? (Sidenote: I am really digging the camera on my mobile phone. Takes really great crisp clear pictures. Seriously, just point and shoot! No muss, no fuss. Okay before this turns into a plug for a mobile device 😃...)

So not a man reflecting on the days spent and the days yet to come. Not a man who just said, "whew, it's too hot and I'm too tired to keep walking...not someone down on their luck seeking monetary blessing (though it does appear that someone bestowed upon him a few coins...interesting...)

A statue! I bet this statue had quite a few people thinking it was an actual person...at least from the rear angle. Someone's super talented.

Anyway, off to see, well, what else I can see😎

BTW: If you'd like to know what type of phone took these pictures, just drop me a line, lol

Peace,

The Streak Is Over...

Ok so yesterday was the end of my blogging streak.  I missed my daily update for the first time in quite awhile (SIGH) Did anyone miss me?  Hmmm... I did have a really good excu-I mean a good reason. I had to work - different job then my regular job but still I had to work. Here's proof... I will work on today's post a little later...😎

Work It

I found an old photo of me from many moons ago. I'm talking acid washed jeans, big glasses, big hair - the whole 9 yards. It's just a casual shot - me and a friend chilling on the couch (uh, no I don't plan to post it LOL) - but it got me thinking about yester-year or days of old (sheesh, that sounds kinda knightly)...You know, those days when your biggest worries included "are the quarter pounder combos on sale this week? Is HE going to ask me out? For Prom??" (HE didn't but I went to prom anyway and had a BLAST!) This is also about the time I got my first taste of adulthood - A JOB! A real one! Like actually doing things for someone other than my parents and grandparents in order to maintain my allowance (yes, I was one of those kids). Employee ID, Clock-In/Out, an actual check - shoot couldn't tell me nothing. I was a working WOMAN after all (okay so a working TEEN but still, LOL)  Guess where I worked? No, go ahead I'll wait... Time's u...

You Don't Have To be so mean

Someone asked me the other day " hey, don't you ever get tired of being so happy and positive all the time? How can you be so NICE?" I was thrown! Ok maybe not completely since I've heard a little about this before. "You always have a smile on your face...you're so happy...you're so NICE to EVERYBODY...I really like talking to you...thank you for being so kind...-it's rare" Even though I've heard these comments before, it still surprises me a little. Not that people think I'm nice but that so many people experience the opposite - often enough that they are shocked enough to comment. Makes you, ok me, wonder why are so many people not nice? Just plain old mean? How do they get that way? Can't make me believe that people are born that way...hmm course i have a seen pictures of newborn babies with some pretty mean mugs. Looking like they've been here before and experienced all the atrocities of life ALREADY!  But really - why?  ...
