According to Dictionary.com , a quirk is a peculiarity of action, behavior, or personality; mannerism" an idiosyncrasy is "a characteristic, habit, mannerism, or the like, that is peculiar to an individual" and a habit is "an acquired behavior pattern regularly followed until it has become almost involuntary".
